development through our professional conferences and leadership positions
along with traineeship opportunities with major companies around the world.

What are the benefits of being involved in your student organization?
AIESEC exchange is a cost effective way to go abroad. We provide traineeships with top companies all over the world in areas such as business development, management, IT, programming, marketing, and teaching/education to name a few. All majors are welcome and diversity is encouraged. Most traineeships are paid to cover the cost of living and run from 2 to 18+ months. You won't see another opportunity like going abroad through AIESEC; you're a part of the AIESEC global network, with people all over the world
ready to help you succeed and provide the best cultural opportunity possible.

Here at UGA, we provide a close knit group to get involved in. We bring our mission of cultural understanding to campus by hosting cultural events, and we develop our leaders by providing unique challenges. AIESEC is a unique community with positive - and boundless! - energy and we're always looking for new members. Whether you've been looking for a chance to go abroad
(affordably!) or just looking to make some lifelong friends, AIESEC is the place for you!

Does your organization collaborate with other student organizations? If so,
please describe the collaboration.
We try to get involved as much as possible with other international student groups when putting on events, especially like our World Cup Soccer Tournament. We also promote other events that these student groups are holding to encourage our members to get involved culturally on campus outside of AIESEC.

Please list (and briefly explain) any awards or recognition your student
organization has received:

Our past president, Chris Rabon, was awarded student leader of the year by ISL for his efforts in expanding AIESEC UGA and making us known on campus.

FUN FACTS!
One of our alumni, after going abroad through AIESEC to Africa, returned to find that AIESEC UGA had faded on campus in his absence. After re-establishing our organization, he was inspired by his experiences abroad and founded another non-profit organization here on campus... ever heard of UGA Heroes for Children? Yep, founded by an AIESECer! And the most recent
Nobel Peace Prize winner Martti Ahtisaari? Yep, another AIESEC alum!

Do you have any funny stories from events or student organization moments
that you would like to share?
Come share in our ridiculous (and world famous) dances at our general meetings... always worth the laughs! We have an absolute BLAST at all of our events and have many stories to share, so drop on by one of our meetings and see what all the fun is about!

How can students get involved with your student organization?
Check out our website (www.aiesecuga.com) for upcoming info sessions and
events. We have meetings every week (location and time on website), so come
check us out!
