Who are you?
The mission of the Child and Family Development Association at the
University of Georgia is to promote educational, professional, and social
opportunities among students interested in the development of individuals
and families through all stages of life. Members of the association attend
informational meetings, seminars, and talks on developmental issues and
career oriented topics. These students will also be involved in group
projects and activities along with volunteer service projects in the
community. In the past, these projects have included adopt-a-grandparent,
canned food drives and sponsoring needy families in the area.

Does your organization collaborate with other student organizations?
Yes we have collaborated with UGA NAACP as well as SAFCS and other
organizations in the College of FACS. We're willing to collaborate with any
organization!
Awards or recognition:
We have not received any awards yet, but I am sure we will!
How can students get involved with your student organization?
Come to our meetings - we generally meet on the third Thursday of the month
at 5pm in 101 Dawson.
Applications are available in 123 Dawson Hall from the secretary and you pay
a one-time fee of $10 which covers you for 4 years (or 5 years, or 6...) at
UGA!
